Elliott’s Autos Ltd is an independently run garage local to Halifax town centre.

Reliable, efficient and honest with friendly customer service running through our pipes, Elliott’s Autos Ltd is headed up by Matthew and family.  Matthew has over 20 years’ experience as a motor vehicle technician with extensive knowledge of most vehicles.

Matthew started his apprenticeship at 16 with the former Sunwin Motor Group at Fiat Halifax.  From here he went on to work at other garages in and around Halifax, Huddersfield and Keighley including an independent LPG specialist, Bristol Street Motors – Nissan Halifax and mobile towbar fitting where he picked up his passion for vehicle electronics.

Had an electrical problem with my car, took it to 2 garages who told me they did not know what was wrong with it, before scrapping it took it down to Elliotts who managed to find and fix the problem and had be back on the road, very friendly excellent service would highly recommend.

Matt recently had my car in to replace my Timing belt and some minor repairs. He provied an excellent service and kept me updated with costs along the way. If you want an honest repair with no hidden extras, I'd highly recommend this garage.

Location

Located on New Bond Street we’re extremely fortunate to have our parts supplier, General Traffic (GT Parts ) next door, meaning all in stock items can be with us in seconds.   We also use neighbouring and fellow small business Bedford Street Garage for our MOTs and will happily organise this along with any other work you require.   We’re a short walk into Halifax town centre or if you wish to wait for your vehicle work to be carried out, Café No 5 in the Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre is round the corner, where you can grab a coffee and a freshly baked cake (the brownies are our favourites).   For those needing to travel that bit further afield, we do have a courtesy car available on a pre booked basis.
